Home Sweet City communicated promptly and gave us all the details we needed to know, plus recommendations. They answered all of my questions and their place was clean and nice. Amenities are extra nice with black make up removal towel, and yoga mat, dumbbells, Brita filter water jug. They gave me an extra hour for checking out because we usually have difficult time getting our son out of bed without extra charges. We ended up checked out on time but it was sweet that they let us do that. Will definitely book with them again when we come back to DC.

Great spot near the heart of DuPont Circle. Very convenient to DC Metro stop and plenty of fun restaurants and bars. Perfect basement apartment with all the essentials for a long weekend getaway. Would definitely stay again!

Positive: Very well appointed apartment with all the amenities for a short stay. I loved having shower stuff as well as tools for breakfast provided. Codes worked great. It was close to subway and easy walk to attractions if we wanted to stretch our legs. Hosts were alos very responsive when I asked about parking and I found a spot 7 minuted walk from property. Negative: I would have appreciated another hour on either check in or checkout. I didn’t specifically need it so I didn’t ask but it would have been nice.

The Home Sweet City team are great hosts! Everything was as described, the place was perfect for what I was in town for and loved the location as it was extremely walkable to wherever you wanted to go. Would stay here again!

If arriving in DC by any means other than driving, I highly recommend this place. However, if driving, parking is a nightmare & very expensive. Hours for parking garages are wonky & inconvenient. Highly suggest owners list recommended parking garages for renters on site to be helpful. Street parking is laughable. As far as the apartment, everything was great. Just as pictured & as described. Only complaint would be not enough closet, storage or counter space. No where to unpack your things. Lived out of suitcase the whole week. Also, this is perfect for 2 people, but anymore & it’s crowded. We had 3 of us & we were only supplied 3 towels/wash rags for the whole week so we all used the same towel during our stay. Kitchen was well stocked to accommodate any meal prep. The metro is perfectly convenient as it is just a few steps from the apartment & is a straight shot to the W.H, National mall, and the Capital. Very quiet, very clean, very safe.

I am happy how quick customer service responding. It is great location. The noise from the upstair floor very disturbing on flthe first 2 days, the situa was better after report this issued to Home owner.

The place was clean and had decent amenities however the location was just not we expected. It was very difficult to find the actually location. The neighbors were so loud. They stumped and ran upstairs in the middle of the night so much so that I couldn’t get a decent sleep.

This was a basement unit, which we expected, but the space had a noticeable smell. We had to run the bathroom fan constantly to make it more bearable. The biggest issue was the lighting. The bathroom light fixture went out early in our stay, leaving the bathroom mostly dark. We told the host right away, but they said they couldn’t do anything about it during our stay. This made getting ready pretty inconvenient. Toward the end of the trip, the bedroom light also started flickering. I didn’t report that since the host had already said they weren’t able to help with the bathroom issue. The location was great, but the lack of attention to basic maintenance made the stay less comfortable than it should have been.

This place was in a really great location and was spotless, quiet and comfortable. Just a short walk to EVERYTHING which was absolutely perfect.

This cozy apartment is perfect for 2 or 3 people. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. My adult son even admitted the sofa bed was nice with it’s gel mattress…no bars in your back! Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of bathroom supplies. Location is in one of the most beautiful DC neighborhoods. It is walkable to most popular places and the Dupont circle metro is 1 block away for those sights that are a little farther. Several restaurants and shops are a short walk away. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for my family of three. The neighborhood was beautiful with lots of food options within walking distance. We didn’t have a car so the close proximity to the metro stop was great. The sleeper sofa was very comfortable. Hosts were responsive and helpful. The place was pristine. The kitchen was well equipped for the small meals we prepared. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to DC.

We had a great stay at this apartment in Washington. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a very good stay, and we would book again!

We had an excellent stay here. The place was the perfect size for our needs, was well kept and had all of the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Hosts were proactive and clear in communicating with us and made sure we had all of the information we needed to get in and around with ease. Only downside would be that the unit does not include parking, so we had to pay for a nearby garage and the alley was very icy, which made walking out to the metro a bit of a trick. Other than that, it was everything we hoped for and we would gladly stay here again!

Had an amazing stay!

This is a garden level gem. You won’t get breathtaking views out the windows, but it has a great location 1/2 block from the DuPont Metro. DuPont Circle is a terrific neighborhood, with a mixture of intimate and excellent restaurants as well as a variety of shops. Grocery stores and pharmacies convenient walk away, as are more than a few embassies and interesting neighborhoods.

Fantastic location and everything exactly as described. Lower apartment so a little dark, but! We knew this going in (all in description). If we have to find a ‘complaint’? Dishes/glasses could have been a bit cleaner. But, seriously, just washed ourselves and all good. Felt safe, quiet (dog upstairs, but no barking), super convenient. Thank you so much! Such a wonderful city.

Fantastic value in beautiful part of DuPont, steps from the Phillips Collection. Pristine apartment and a perfect size for two travelers. Quiet and very comfortable. Such an amazing little apartment right in the heart of DuPont Circle, tucked on a side street. Extremely walkable to restaurants, the fountain and Metro. The rainfall shower and included toiletries (Public Foods) were fabulous

Had a great stay here! Bathroom and kitchen were clean, extra towels were provided. The area is perfect! Right next to the metro but tucked into a corner so we didn’t find it too noisy with its surroundings. Stunning area that was next to a lot of things we wanted to do. Fairly priced, would definitely recommend!

It is a great jumping in location as it is so close to the DuPont Circle Metro. Lots of awesome restaurants in easy walking distance. The place was so well equipped and comfortable for 2, would be tight for 2 couples or families with 2 older kids. Hosts very responsive and helpful.

Came to DC for a work trip and this Airbnb was perfect for my 3 night stay. Loved being in DuPont with easy and walkable access to restaurants, cafes, etc. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and overall very communicative host. The bathroom and kitchen were so nice. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay right near the DuPont circle metro station. Lots of great things to do which are all extremely accessible. I appreciated the good communication by the home sweet staff as well as the good amenities within the Airbnb itself.

I had a nice stay at the quaint little apartment in a great neighborhood in DC when finding a hotel was tough. It is a nice, clean space, good for one or two, but a little tricky to get in. I would stay there again but would warn travelers it is attached to other residents so you do hear neighbors walking and talking above.

This place was perfect for our family of four. We were looking forward to showing our kids DC and it was right in the heart of Dupont. The host was incredibly proactive and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed.

Small but very comfortable one bedroom place right near Dupont Circle. Excellent location, on a beautiful and quiet street. Somewhat below ground.

We loved our stay in Dupont Circle. The place is located right off of the red line metro station, making it really convenient especially for those traveling from Union Station. The area is quiet, tucked between a busier circle with restaurants and cafes and several blocks of beautiful residential homes. Our hosts were very communicative and had plenty of recommendations for things to do also. The home itself is just like the pictures. Plenty of amenities including a well-supplied kitchen area and bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Our family is pleased especially traveling with two toddlers. It is walking distance from a lots of things, just be prepared to walk. Great location, we enjoyed our space since we hardly stayed indoors. It is clean, parking garage are available within walking distance eat out every meal. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit. If you want to feel like a local, stay here..

This was a great value and I would stay there again in a second if it were available. The space was just as promised and very functional. FWIW the bed is incredibly comfortable! Everything worked, the instructions were clear, and the location was quiet and convenient. Home Sweet City was responsive, friendly, and helpful. Definitely 5 Stars!

We had a great stay here. Great location for exploring DC with 20-30 min walk to the White House, main attractions and museums. Stayed here with my parents and made use of the pull-out couch. The apartment fit the three of us very well.

Tricky to find but the host gives very clear instructions and communicates well. Located very close to the metro which was a bonus and made it easy to get anywhere in the city easily. Sheets/floor could’ve been cleaner. Overall everything my stay was pleasant!

The location was great and apartment was very clean. There is an adjacent apartment to the one where I stayed, and the two apts were separated by a curtain with presumably a thin wall or door behind. At night I could a man coughing for some time in the other apt; and the sound was so proximate as if they were somewhere in my apt. As a solo female traveler (for work), that didnt feel great and for that reason only I prbly wouldnt stay here again. Otherwise everything else was great.

Overall I was disappointed. Though the apartment was very clean, and the neighborhood was excellent. However, the entire experience felt very impersonal, yet without the amenities of a hotel. They only provided 2 bath towels for 3 registered guests, and it took the ‘team’ over 24 hours to drop off one additional bath towel. They explained by saying they had to do 30 check-outs that day. I suppose if you have so many properties that you can’t attend to your current guests you either need fewer properties or a larger team. Additionally, the cleaning fee was outrageous, almost $200 for an apartment that is approx 300 sq/ft. This property also requires you to take out your own trash, linens, and towels. I don’t understand how both the cleaning fee is SO expensive, and the guests are expected to go above and beyond in cleaning the apartment themselves. They list a travel crib as an amenity but when I requested it they said there would be an extra fee. Too much focus on fees, not guests!

It was our first visit to DC and we had a wonderful stay here. Great and convenient location. Close to restaurants, cafes, public transportation and downtown. Very clean unit. Well kept and organized. Nice furnishings and design. My daughter is a teenager and she slept in the bedroom and I took the sofa. It was comfortable for a two night stay. I wish that they provided more than two bath towels but not a huge deal. Also the next door unit is close and we could hear their conversations and television. It did not bother us but something to be aware of. The management is responsive, helpful and polite.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The location is unbeatable, with many restaurants and the DuPont metro station nearby. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-maintained.

My family and I enjoyed this Airbnb located in Dupont Circle. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are tons of restaurants and shops near the property. The property is a stone’s throw from the metro making it easy to get around D.C.

Great owner/agency/host. Replaced a coffee maker on a moment’s notice… It is a Basement unit. The upstairs neighbors could be heard, but did not disrupt the stay at all. However, Unit A attached to my Unit B, is not soundproofed enough. An adjoining door(someone might rent both units together?) There is light visible around the door frame, and noise & smells pass straight through. In my situation, Unit A renters were smoking a bong, and talking about it loudly, 3 nights in a row til 2-4am, playing loud music and playing loud Movies… this could easily be fixed with some minor retrofitting construction, but when the heater kicked in, it sucked air from Unit A to B, and we got the pot smoke. I don’t smoke and prefer not to, but the Unit had smoke in it. The adhesive sound absorbing pieces, are a bandaid… I assume it was a perfect storm, but I was there on business and this made it difficult to sleep and wasn’t the best experience. Great Place, if there are some adjustments made.
