We enjoyed our stay over all. The heat system broke on the night we arrived but they were able to actively communicate with us and trying their best to relocate us. We end up being fine using the space heaters for the stay (and they provided 2 additional ones the next day). Having one parking space is a huge privilege for traveling in DC

Clean and comfy inside. Good beds. Nice kitchen comfortable living room. We would stay again. However neighborhood was a bit noisy. On the street and the apartment across the street.
I feel the cleaning fee plus the service fee plus the taxes made this home a bit overpriced.

Very clean space, and some great places to eat nearby. Initially the dedicated parking space had another car in the spot but the host was quick to remedy that which was much appreciated. The quiet street was also a big plus. Highly recommended if you’re staying in the northwest part of DC.

Overall, the space very much matched the description and had all of the amenities as described, including a parking spot in the alley. There is a lot of natural light in the space which was very nice. Very comfortable and good space for our family of 4. If you want to sleep in though, bring an eye mask. While there are mini blinds on all the windows, a lot of light still comes through. This wasn’t a problem for us as we had plans each day and needed to be up early. However, as mentioned in another review, some neighbors were out partying on the sidewalk/in the streets until the wee hours of the morning 2 of the 4 nights we were there. The first incident was on a weeknight so we thought maybe it was a one-off, but then it occurred again on the Friday night. Overall, the white noise from the HVAC unit drowned out some of the noise and it only impacted the bedroom that was facing the street. The kids were sleeping in the rooms at the rear of the house and did not hear anything.

Great Airbnb. Pictures and description are accurate and loved the furniture. Location is super convenient, lots to do in the area and dedicated parking spot is super clutch.
Only mild issue is the neighbors. We stayed for a long weekend and the neighbors were partying to 4AM on a Saturday. Was hard to rest that night but could just be a one off occasion.
Would definitely recommend!

Great stay , parking available for one vehicle if needed , street parking available if needed nice interior , room with the twin bed is a little smaller than initially thought but it was good for one person , stay was easy and convenient.

Great place to stay. Host was super responsive, kind, and willing to go the extra mile for us. The place is not huge but easily accommodates five people in two queen beds and a twin, each in their own room. The area is very nice and it’s easy to moe around. The parking space behind the house is very convenient.

The hosts were very friendly and responsive. They were very clear about check-in, but the parking spot was a little tricky to find.
I stayed there for 2 nights with my elderly uncle and aunt. The stairs were a little narrow but there was a rail to assist them, which was very nice.
The room facing the street was a little noisy at night but the other 2 rooms were fine. Overall, it was nice, and was happy to stay there!

Great stay! Walkable to several Mount Pleasant/Columbia Heights attractions. The home was extremely clean and tidy. The hosts were accommodating, responsive, and polite. Would stay again!

A bright, clean house in a great neighborhood, very close to where our son lives, so perfect for us. Parking spot was super handy. We had one issue getting in the back door that the code didn’t work. After a day, the host fixed it and it worked. But was a little tedious having to walk around the block to get in only the front door. Not a big deal, but worth fine tuning your system to avoid going forward. Appliances were great. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, linens, were super clean. Would stay here again.

1618 Oak was just perfect! The big kitchen table was a gathering place for many family meals and made the whole place feel like a home to us. It’s filled with sunlight and the decor is contemporary and uncluttered yet feels cozy. Clean. Quiet. Comfy beds and fluffy towels. We hope to return!
