This place is great find. I have stayed twice and both times have been excellent. There is full kitchen so making meals was easy. The layout of the place was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. This is a few minutes walk to a metro or bus stop. A great Thai food/Sushi place is close as well. I would recommend and definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.

Beautiful place to stay. Super clean and well stocked with basic essentials. The near by Safeway was super convenient. Along with other food and coffee spots within walking distance. I would stay here again!

The stay was great. The basement floor of the rowhouse was plenty bright and had great amenities. Bed and sheets were comfortable. All around great place.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in DC and slept comfortably in Home Sweet City’s pad. Despite a few minor hiccups, the owner was very responsive and friendly. The minor hiccups did not interfere with our stay. I enjoyed the soaking tub. We liked being so close to a grocery store and enjoyed the ability to cook a hot meal the first night. Off street parking was easy to navigate once we figured out the process and signs. Loved that the metro station was just around the corner. The home was clean, cozy and relaxing after a long day touring the city. Looking forward to our next trip back to DC!

The place was amazing! Very clean and very nice

We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights and overall had an enjoyable experience. The place was VERY clean and had a modern, stylish design. The hilarious paintings of people on the toilet was, such a fun and unexpected touch! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need, and the space had great lighting throughout. They also provided free Capitol Blend coffee, which I ended up loving. Location-wise, it’s right next to a grocery store and close to metro and bus stops. It’s not walking distance to the historic sights, but the metro made exploring D.C. easy. A couple of things to note: checkout is at 10 AM, which felt a bit early. Upstairs from the bedroom, it seems there’s a kitchen; we could hear footsteps, vacuuming, and the garbage disposal pretty clearly. It wasn’t too bad for us since we were out most of the day. Lastly, the checkout instructions felt a little excessive, like a full checklist. Overall, the place was clean, fun, well-equipped, and full of personality.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The host was incredibly welcoming, and the space was spotless and cozy. Perfect location with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Very nice…great location (our son lives on Randolph..about a block away..he’s on Airbnb also). Great area. Super responsive host. Very helpful. While the unit is very nice, there are a couple of shortcomings in our opinion. With the cold temperature in DC, the bedroom was quite chilly. The heat was controlled in blocks of time and temperature could not be set above 71° per guest instructions. They could use a better supply of hot water for the shower (ran out when my wife was showering).

My friend and I loved staying here! It was a beautiful place even better than what we expected. The location was great, not too busy, pretty quiet and easy to get around! The hosts were very helpful and detailed with any question i might have had! Would definitely stay again!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. It’s so comfortable and feels like home. I’d definitely book again if available.

Very nice place to stay with a lot surroundings

The pull-out sofa bed was convenient but a bit uncomfortable. Locked heat settings made it was a bit cold. Asked and never received a space heater for me, my sister, and my 2 month old. Overall, other features were as described. Cute space with great location.

This apartment was very clean and personalized. Everything was spotless and comfy! I love the personal touch of the local tea they provided. Apartment felt very safe and we had no issues.
