The home is best for up to 3–4 guests, with a queen bed in the bedroom that sleeps 2 and a queen sofa bed in the living room that sleeps 1–2, ideal for a child or close couple.

Is this a good spot for a romantic getaway or family stay?
Yes, the artist‑designed interiors, mood lighting, and private roof deck make it an especially lovely choice for couples, while the queen sofa bed and layout also work well for a small family or a business traveler wanting extra space.

What about noise and neighbors?
The apartment is on the top floor with the bedroom high above the street, so city noise is generally minimal there, but as with any urban location, some street sound and typical building noise from neighboring units can be expected. There are neighbors living below you so we ask that guests be mindful of this.

What is the parking situation?
Free off‑street parking is included with your stay, which is very rare in DC, however the parking space is very small so is not suitable for a large SUV.

Are there any access quirks or stairs?
Yes, the penthouse is two full flights of stairs up with no elevator, so guests need to be comfortable climbing stairs and carrying luggage.

How close is it to transit and key sights?
U Street Metro is a short walk away, and from there you can reach downtown, the museums, and the National Mall in just a few stops; the White House is about a 30‑minute walk, and the monuments and Smithsonian museums are a short Metro ride or quick drive.
