Positive: The property is beautiful. I love a good renovated rowhouse and this was exceptional. I love that they kept much of the original trim and features unique to DC rowhouses but modernized the space for comfort. The property name was befitting. I didn’t want to leave. It felt like it could be my home(if I could afford it….lol). Negative: Not that is was a dislike, but the high ceilings did make cool air rise so sometimes it felt warm. You can’t adjust a/c the temp beyond the recommended set temp as it will cause “sweating” in the main bedroom. Those were minor discomforts and in no way took away from the overall experience.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet City’s rental! It was clean with plenty of space, just like being at home. All the added amenities were so helpful! We were able to cook a full breakfast, bake, and prepare many meals with great utensils in the spacious kitchen. The custom toiletries smell amazing, feel great, and environmentally friendly!!! The private parking space made parking after a long day easy to unload luggage, groceries, and supplies. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay in DC with great recommendations for the neighborhood!!!

This home was absolutely stunning, lots of charm and character with all the modern amenities you could think of. The neighbourhood was cute and quiet, and it was not too far from the city center.

What a great location and beautiful place. The agents were always right on with their responses. It had everything you could possibly want. The A/C was great, it was hot and steamy in DC, but the house was super cool and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a great unit in the city within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. The unit itself is spacious and perfect for hosting a small group. The outdoor space in the front and back and the included parking spot were great bonuses. We would love to stay here again

Great place!

Home Sweet City was the perfect place to stay! They were they flexible and responsive, and I can’t wait to book again one day soon.

The house was immaculately furnished and the old world charm was impressive. The house was interesting, charming and well appointed. The wood work was truly impressive. We found a number of restaurants within a few blocks and enjoyed the location. The house was quiet and comfortable. Great stay and central location. The parking was definitely useful, but not for the faint of heart! Don’t bring a big car 🙂 A big thank you to the hosts for a great stay!

The home offered everything my family of 4 needed. It was very clean, beautiful, and spacious. We were able to take the metro train which was a 12 minute walk and explore all the national monuments. There were a few great restaurants in walking distance too which made it very convenient.

Will likely stay here again next time I’m in the city. Great cafe and restaurant nearby, easy access to highways, super responsive hosts… Was great for my two little kids as well with a kiddie table… Highly recommend!

My family had a wonderful experience staying here! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. There were really good restaurants around and all we needed in easy walking distance. The house was so well appointed with decor and furnishings. Such a beautiful space! The renovations were remarkable but yet you can still feel the bones of the house. It was comfortable and relaxing. We would certainly stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at this property during our family trip to DC! As a family of five with three kids, we were looking for a comfortable, spacious, and convenient place to stay, and this home did not disappoint. The space was perfect for our needs – the kids had plenty of room to play and unwind, and the bedrooms were cozy and well-equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made meal prep easy, especially for our busy schedule. We loved the nice touches, like the kids’ toys and games available, which kept them entertained after a long day of sightseeing. The location was fantastic too! It was close to all the major attractions like the National Mall, museums, and restaurants. Our host was wonderful – very responsive and gave us great tips on things to do. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again on our next DC trip. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

A stunning property that felt like home.

A very well appointed property. Included secure parking, a big plus for DC. You may find it hard to get a large SUV or Pick-up truck in and out of the garge due to limited alley width and no turn around spot. As noted in the home guide, the upstairs bedrooms get alot warmer than the downstairs when the home heating is on. Shaw/Howard station is 12 minute walk.

Thanks to this house for a great vacation, the house is clean, there is everything you need for traveling with children, a lot of dishes in which you can cook food for children. Very clean house, large bathroom, comfortable beds. Clean and new towels. Great location from the center 10 minutes and from the airport 10 minutes. We also rented a car, there were always parking spaces near the house. Thank you so much !

This place was a perfect place to stay for the week! It was a BEAUTIFULLY designed rowhouse in Bloomingdale that was very comfortable for 4 adults and 1 child. we really loved our stay and the host were responsive to our needs. The offstreet parking was fantastic and beds were very comfortable. We love the location and visiting Big Bear Cafe every chance we got. One of the best Airbnbs in Washington DC!

Great place, matched the photos and very upscale renovations. Cleaning fee is excessive, I don’t even pay that much for my 5k sqft house. Some of the areas nearby seem a bit sketchy but it was safe and lots of people walking/running in the neighborhood.

House is better than described. Feel right at home in DC.
