I loved my stay here for my first visit to DC. Clean and comfortable space, exactly as
pictured. Hosts provided very thorough details regarding the space and were responsive. As mentioned, this unit is located below a family unit so occasionally other noises are to be expected. This didn’t interfere with my visit by any means, but is something to be aware of. The area is walkable and peaceful and with the right weather you can really get anywhere from here on foot. I would definitely stay again if I were to revisit.

We stayed here for the weekend and a had a phenomenal time. The location was amazing , walking distance to all the museums and famous landmarks, right next to 14th st with tons of places to eat and bars to go to, and parks around the area for great walks.
The apartment itself was also fantastic! Was very clean, had everything I would expect, and was very cozy! I would 100% come here again next time I come to DC. The listing mentions a family living in the upstairs unit, which I was slightly concerned might be loud, but we didn’t hear a peep from any neighbors the whole time, was totally silent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay in the prime DC area.

The home was a decent place to stay and the hosts are really nice and checked in regularly! It was easy to find and looked like the pictures posted. However the place is a little smaller than we expected and not meant for more than 2 people. The shower is extremely small. Overall it was a good stay.

Our second stay. Nice garden apartment, thoughtfully decorated. Small space typical for DC, but they’ve done a good job making it feel cozy and warm. Good amenities for the space. Would happily stay again.

This listing was generally great, in a lovely spot, and had everything we needed. Note, though, that bugs and little critters seem overly abundant inside – though i suppose that comes with this time of year.

Definitely what my friend and I needed for a weekend stay in DC! As far as the area, lots of walkable coffee shops and small restaurants nearby. Area felt safe and was generally quiet at night.
The space was small but had all of the essentials. The lighting was a bit dim when it was darker outside, but the AC units worked well. My only negative would be the shower; it was very small and hard to move around while inside. The water pressure in the shower was also on the weaker side.
Communication with the hosts was seamless and they even accommodated an early check-in for us.
Overall good location and good space for a quick trip.

Amazing location, amazing apartment! HSC was super friendly, very active and welcoming. We felt very safe at their place and enjoyed our stay! Plus, most of the museums, memorials & the WH are literally a few blocks away! We will definitely be back and look forward to booking with them again! Thank you so much! We graded it a perfect 10!

Very clean with all amenities as promised was perfect for our stay located in a good part of the city for us to do what we needed to get done no issues whatsoever.

My 7 days stay was great! I brought my own food to cook and it was great to have a fully operational kitchen to work in. There are some resturants local that where amazing too! Parking was easy and I was able to confirm with message to Home Sweet that I was in correct area with local permit. Overall, great location and great amenities. Will stay here again!

We loved our stay at this apartment! Easy to access and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. Very walkable to the Mall and other attractions/restaurants- would highly recommend Pizzolis pizza just a couple blocks away. Definitely would come back on our next trip!

A sleek, modern, and clean 1 BR English Basement unit in a row house that was quiet and private. This unit is walk able to DuPont Circle, Logan Circle, U Street Corridor, and the Convention Center. Great place to feel at home for a couples romantic getaway, or a business traveler that wants a different experience than a hotel. I was a single traveler in town visiting friends and everything was perfect. Will stay again!!

Downtown DC was an amazing place to stay! It is located in a safe neighborhood in walking distance from downtown. The furniture is all very clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful to meet any additional needs during my stay. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to have an authentic, comfortable stay in DC!

Enjoyed staying few nights at this place during my visit in DC- the location is pretty convenient, the metro bus line going to National Mall and Smithsonian Museums area is right around the corner, and there are great restaurants and Whole Foods just a couple of blocks away. Very walkable and quiet at nights. It’s a cozy place, comfortable for one person, two probably would be a max. Great use of space, plenty of closet space and counter spaces for travel items and clothing. Bed was comfortable to get good rest.
Couple of things to note, 1) it is a basement/downstairs unit. You will hear upstairs neighbors footsteps and voices, street noises and some car noises in the morning. These didn’t bother me during my stay but if you are sensitive, you may not like staying here. 2) since it is a lower unit I did not open the blinds, there are some natural lights coming in, the place is well lit with light fixtures 3) shower is pretty tight (i am 5’8”) but enough to turn around and such.

A comfortable, cozy, basement apartment to stay in for a few days in DC. The shower is very small, but manageable. There’s also a little bit of noise from the neighbors upstairs, but not anything surprising if you’ve ever lived in an older building with neighbors.

The accommodations were exactly as described and presented in the photos. It’s a perfect location for anyone who wants to be in central DC – tons of restaurants and bars nearby, easy access to the metro, and options to purchase groceries and cook in a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment was well-updated and comfortable – a perfect place for those in need of a base camp while they explore the city or visit for work. The hosts were extremely responsive and were able to accomodate an earlier check-in for a reasonable fee. While the apartment is directly accessible from the street, the surrounding location felt very safe and the apartment itself was well-secured with a digital deadbolt lock. Everything was very clean, the wifi worked great for work calls, and the appliances and bathroom were tidy and well-functioning. And despite this being a basement apartment, it received great natural light during the day.

Very well decorated. It’s garden level i.e. basement, but didn’t feel too basement-y at all. It even got pretty good light from the street facing windows. Everything in the apartment is very well designed, and very well equipped. They do a lot with a little space (maybe 250 square feet) and make it very nice to look at. Super clean. The kitchen had everything to cook anything you need.
It was dark for sleeping, and though there was a little noise from the upstairs neighbors, it did not bother me, or get in the way of sleep.
I liked the location too, near Logan Circle, so easy to get to the Mall and other areas of Northwest. Good restaurants, and a grocery store nearby. It’s about an 8 minute walk to Mt Vernon metro stop.

At semi-basement, it’s not easy to notice this from photos or description, although it indeed mentioned in an intriguing way (“downstairs suites”). Otherwise , the room is well designed, with good facilities, and interesting. If you don’t care it’s at semi-basement, this can be a good choice.

Place looked as picture s, but I expected more natural light and bright space. However, the place is on ground floor little like basement. So, If someone wants to find a bright place, you should find another place. This place is quite dark, so it made me feel bad. I paid it all, but I booked another place to stay. Host is very responsive but not sure they were supportive.

This studio space is tastefully done. Great kitchen, clean apartment, conveniently located, and responsive host. I would stay here again. The space is peaceful and still close to markets, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Nice little place right next to Logan circle/14th st with lots of restaurants, bars in close proximity. Walkable distance to the Mall (Smithsonian museums and monuments).
Hosts were very friendly, quick to respond and gave tons of local recommendations.
The only thing I would point out is that the 4:30pm check in combined with a 10am check out makes it very difficult for travelers and could lead to some inconvenience with luggage etc.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This was a great location with a convenient 10min walk to the Convention Center. My colleague and I visited DC for a conference and found this spot perfect for our stay. It is neat and clean, within walking distance to at least two grocery stores that we visited and plenty of restaurants and bars. The host was responsive and gave us lots of info to make the stay carefree. Even though it is a one bedroom, the couch is large enough for an adult to sleep on and was very comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend for folks looking for an easy stay near the Convention Center. Thanks again!

Great stay!! We had a comfortable home that was great for working, cooking, doing laundry, and getting cozy. There were many restaurants in walking distance and monuments a little bit of longer walk or short uber away!

Michelle’s place is as advertised. It is a convenient location and comfortable. There are no bars on the windows but two of my friends, who are locals, assured me the neighborhood is safe. The washer and dryer were easy to use. I recommend this Airbnb.

We stayed here for a few nights during an oppressive DC heat/humidity wave. It was cool and quiet, thoughtfully decorated, and it had a well-equipped kitchen. The host responded promptly to inquiries. We were worried about parking and it was absolutely not a problem. Follow the instructions they send and you’ll be fine.

Such a charming and cozy stay! We were right in the middle of a beautiful, walkable neighborhood that felt very close to all major attractions. This was a perfect stay for my business meeting at the nearby convention center. Coffee shop/bakery was right on my way each morning and it was a short walk back and forth. This is one of a handful of AirBNB experiences that I am looking forward to booking again when I need to be near a specific location. Everything was great.

Place looked as picture s, but I expected more natural light and bright space. However, the place is on ground floor little like basement. So, If someone wants to find a bright place, you should find another place. This place is quite dark, so it made me feel bad. I paid it all, but I booked another place to stay. Host is very responsive but not sure they were supportive.

Cozy little basement apartment in a fantastic location! The kitchen, bathroom, and living room were all well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Communication with the management was excellent and they were very quick to respond to any and all of our queries.

This studio space is tastefully done. Great kitchen, clean apartment, conveniently located, and responsive host. I would stay here again. The space is peaceful and still close to markets, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Nice little place right next to Logan circle/14th st with lots of restaurants, bars in close proximity. Walkable distance to the Mall (Smithsonian museums and monuments).
Hosts were very friendly, quick to respond and gave tons of local recommendations.
The only thing I would point out is that the 4:30pm check in combined with a 10am check out makes it very difficult for travelers and could lead to some inconvenience with luggage etc.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This was a great location with a convenient 10min walk to the Convention Center. My colleague and I visited DC for a conference and found this spot perfect for our stay. It is neat and clean, within walking distance to at least two grocery stores that we visited and plenty of restaurants and bars. The host was responsive and gave us lots of info to make the stay carefree. Even though it is a one bedroom, the couch is large enough for an adult to sleep on and was very comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend for folks looking for an easy stay near the Convention Center. Thanks again!

Great stay!! We had a comfortable home that was great for working, cooking, doing laundry, and getting cozy. There were many restaurants in walking distance and monuments a little bit of longer walk or short uber away!

Michelle's place is as advertised. It is a convenient location and comfortable. There are no bars on the windows but two of my friends, who are locals, assured me the neighborhood is safe. The washer and dryer were easy to use. I recommend this Airbnb.

We stayed here for a few nights during an oppressive DC heat/humidity wave. It was cool and quiet, thoughtfully decorated, and it had a well-equipped kitchen. The host responded promptly to inquiries. We were worried about parking and it was absolutely not a problem. Follow the instructions they send and you'll be fine.

Traveled for work. Great spot! Parking is hard, so if you don’t have to have a car don’t. Host super responsive. Would stay again!

Matched the pictures, easy to get in, and the check out instructions were not cumbersome. Very clean and comfortable. They communicated well.

The place was nice and cute. check out time is 10:30 am which I found unreasonable . Other than that it was a pleasant experience and communication was quick.

Such a charming and cozy stay! We were right in the middle of a beautiful, walkable neighborhood that felt very close to all major attractions. The host was friendly from the moment we booked, and we felt like we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I’d definitely book here again for future visits to DC!

This was a perfect stay for my business meeting at the nearby convention center. Coffee shop/bakery was right on my way each morning and it was a short walk back and forth. Place was exactly as described, clean, quiet, and easy to access. Very communicative host who was ready in case there were any problems, but everything was great.

This Airbnb was super cute, clean, and in a great neighborhood. The apartment is nice and quiet but close to cafes and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
