Excellent location and great home! Lots of space for family and the kitchen was easy to cook meals in. The house was very clean, well appointed and the neighborhood is quiet. Beds were comfortable too!
There are parking restrictions on the street during the week day but it is manageable. The driveway accommodates one car or two small cars.

My family really enjoyed this home. It was spacious, clean, and it felt like home. My family was able to gather around the kitchen table, cook meals, and sit in the living room together. The beds were comfortable and the area is great. It’s right there from Silver Spring and close to the mall. The metro is also not a far walk from the house.
There were two drawbacks to the house: 1. The bathrooms are quite small and for a bathroom this size when you are sharing with quite a few people, it feels even smaller. 2. The AC stopped working while we were there towards the end of our trip and it was over 85 degrees. The owners were very responsive, tried to get someone out as quickly as possible and provided fans. However, after one night of sleeping in the heat, my family wasn’t able to bear it. Regardless I think the house was a great space for our family if only the AC did not go out.

Our stay was enjoyable. There were 8 people in our group and the house was spacious enough for us. Although the bathrooms were small, they were clean and served their purpose. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe.

It met our needs but there was tape around the refrigerator handle. There was dehumidifiers in the rooms that was not stated by the host. The bathrooms were extremely small especially the sinks. Couch was hard and needs to be cleaned. As I said it met our needs.

My family had an amazing stay in the BNB, the neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. The BNB itself is cozy, spacious, well taken care of and full of amenities! Host was friendly and responsive. I will definitely be booking again!

This rental was a disappointment. While the location near the Red Line is excellent, the management team -though responsive- was disorganized, and unprofessional too. We encountered numerous issues, including:
* Pest Infestation: We discovered mice droppings immediately upon arrival. Instead of promptly addressing the problem with professional pest control, the management delayed, forcing us to constantly clean and sanitize. We got 4 mice in a short span using our baby camera. The basement area for W/D was filthy & unsafe.
* Inadequate Bathrooms: As other reviews show, both the main-level bathrooms were extremely small and difficult to use. The basement bathroom had a slow-draining tub force you to stand in dirty water and leave hairs and scum.
* Severe Drafts: A large gap in the front door caused significant drafts, making it impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Due to such unacceptable conditions, we were forced to move out and seek refund.

The location was ideal for us, for visiting family for the holidays. So we would definitely rent it again! Very easy to access, nice and clean, and it had all the basics you would expect. I’d say that “Basic” really sums it up – it has everything you need, and no more. Here are a few things to know about:
– There’s a park just down the hill with a long walking and jogging path. This location is fantastic for runners!
– The Ethiopian restaurant just around the corner on Georgia Street is phenomenal.
– One of the king bedrooms is downstairs, with lots of privacy & the best bathroom in the house.
– The bathrooms upstairs are tiny! Totally functional, but if you have wide hips you may need to sit a bit sideways on the toilet.
– Although the house has beds for 8 people, they charge extra if you have more than 4 people.
– Also, there’s only space to park one car. (Parking on the street requires a permit.) But my sister says they almost never come around and give out parking tickets.

We enjoyed our stay and that we could spread out within the home. We stayed in this area because we had family who lived nearby. They responded quickly to our questions. The upstairs bathrooms are small, but we still enjoyed our stay.

The stay didn’t match the pictures much Don’t think it’s worth the money. The house wasn’t spotless we found stains & a toothpick on the floor in the living room right when we checked in, broken mirror. A lil disappointed it wasn’t clean like we had intend from the pictures & bathrooms were really small. The house was also freezing temperature stayed on 68 degrees! during October? It was in a good area for connivence though

We wanted to be near the Capitol loop road rather than downtown. The house was our travel hub. Our plans took us into the district, but also to MD and VA attractions. It is very convienent to the highway. We liked it because of this fact. It is close to DT Silver Spring, a plus when you have a car. It has a single car driveway. It has a big clean kitchen. We used it everyday to prepare meals and avoid expensive restaurants. The cooking utensils/pots are worn and flatware no longer has a complete set. The king size beds are comfortable for adults. The singles are kids beds. First floor bathrooms have nice showers, but the sinks are tiny. The center hall bathroom is really a closet with a nice shower. I found the master suite in the basement. We didn’t use it, but the largest bathroom is downstairs. If you are concerned about using stairs this property may not be best. If you have real mobility issues, this house is not for you. The host was prompt and easy to work with.

The house was much older and inconvenient for a bigger group than we had planned. Super small bathrooms and the sinks and toilets were toddler sized. Noisy floors and doors made it hard to not wake others just getting out of bed. House was clean, but minimalistic on things like silverware. Luckily we were in DC most of the time and didn’t have to do much eating in. Would probably be fine for a small family. Not impressed for the money.

This was our second stay at this location. The house is clean, the bedrooms are comfortable and the house is spacious. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it. The house was clean and comfortable! My two little girls loved playing in the basement and front yard. Walkable to playground and trails! Additionally, location is fantastic for getting around with major roadways close by!

We enjoyed our stay at Alex and Lara’s place. It is conveniently located near the Metro and just blocks away from the Silgo Creek trail. Kitchen had everything we needed and connectivity was good for working from home. King beds were comfy!
