Place is probably even better than photos, great location, felt like a safe location. Host is very responsive and easy to work with. Would recommend and stay again.

We loved our stay here with our six young kids. The home was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen had just what we needed, the bedrooms were quiet, and the location was perfect. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and hope to come back another time!

We enjoyed our stay and would book again. The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we appreciated the supply of coffee waiting for us. It was also nice to have a water filter available. Eastern Market which has a good selection of restaurants and a metro stop is within walking distance as well. The US Capital is 1.3 miles away which made for a nice jog each morning. The neighborhood felt very safe. The only small issue we had was the address numbers were faded and it took us a bit to figure out which house was ours.

The town house was exactly as it looked. It was a great set-up for a family of parents and adult children. Inside it was very clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen utensils, spices etc. The area is very walkable and peaceful. It is not especially near Restuarants and Metro but if you are prepared for a decent walk then it is possible to walk to them. Uber, bike shares and e-bikes are all easily available though. We would definitely stay there again.

This home is beautiful & was perfect for our family of 7. The description & pictures were accurate. They replied promptly to any question we had and gave suggestions for local places to eat. We had an issue with AC not cooling properly but a technician was sent over quickly and resolved the problem. Ice cold AC after that! It was certainly a great place to stay while in DC! I would definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal stay! The place was exactly as described, but better! It was perfect for our time in DC for a GW graduation. Serene surroundings, bedding was premium. We loved the Public Goods products and the coffee/tea perks! Did not hear a sound once inside, either from the street or the attached units! Would stay again without hesitation. Thanks!

One of the bathrooms had water backing up through the drain, causing a terrible smell. As a result, we were unable to use that bathroom or the adjacent bedroom.
I rented the house expecting to have access to 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, but only 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms were usable.
Additionally, the upstairs bathroom had an issue with the shower valve—it was impossible to get a comfortable water temperature. The water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, making it unusable for showers.
Effectively, only one full bathroom was functioning properly during our stay.
I contacted the property management company to request compensation, as my family needed the full number of rooms and bathrooms we paid for. Unfortunately, they took no action.
Overall, I’m very frustrated with this experience.

Great property in excellent Capitol Hill location. House is as shown in pictures. Freshly remodeled with new furniture. Kitchen and bathrooms have necessities provided. Very clean. Walk to metro, Capitol, Eastern Market, grocery stores and restaurants. Communication was excellent.

Terrific stay. Great location that is walkable to attractions and/or a short walk to a Metro stop to get to the middle of D.C. The property was very clean and as advertised in the photos. Overnight parking is available on the street however there is a 2 hour limit during the day. Would stay again and recommend.

Great stay in Capitol Hill at Home Sweet City – beautiful neighborhood (lots of families, kids & pets) and felt very peaceful. Place was great for our family of six (four kids), with all amenities needed. We’d stay here again!
