This was a good location for a small family. Basement apartment so there were some sounds from upstairs but the host explained they had guests over that weekend. Would be mindful to ask if you have young kids that get easily scared. Park nearby, walkable breakfast spots, corner stores, etc. and the location was clean overall. It’s possible I missed where they stated that the crib is an extra charge which I wish I had known so I could bring my own pack and play so just make sure to ask about what’s included and what’s extra.

What a great place to stay when visiting Washington. The location was peaceful and quiet. The home was exactly as pictured in the Airbnb app. The pricing was super. The owners live upstairs and were very helpful. We enjoyed talking with them and they were so kind to invite my granddaughters to play in their backyard. I highly recommend staying at this location. The Uber into Washington ran from $12-$17. metro was about a 20 minute walk away. We will be back and look forward to staying in this location again.

I would say pretty solid location, everything was within 15-20 minute uber. The place was freaking SPOTLESS. It was so nicely decorated, you could tell time was spent curating. Everything worked perfectly. My only complaint – it is someone’s basement at the end of the day. I could hear their whole conversation and bet they could hear mine. I also heard their foot steps all night.

Great place overall. Renter was very nice and responsive to toilet leak repair request and fixed it less than 24 hours. The upstairs noise was a little louder than expected per rental description.

We loved staying at this home! The home looked exactly like the photos, was incredibly clean, spacious and felt homey. This would be a comfortable spot to stay for a long period of time. Yes, you can hear the tenants upstairs, but that is affordable DC living for you.

Very nice location with easy access to street parking. The rooms are clean and the decorations are stylish (the coasters look nice). The place is family friendly as well. Lizzy and Michelle are super supportive and communications are mostly up-to-date. Although the terrible traffics did cause some issues when we checked in, everything turned out to be beyond our expectations.

It is great place to stay when you’re at DC. Only annoying thing on first day was internet which was not working at all. I couldn’t surf anything online. Next day host acted promptly and solved the problem.

The apartment was incredibly spacious, clean, and very well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, including lots of spices and baking supplies. There was ample storage, plenty of street parking, and a short drive to downtown/restaurants. It was quiet, private, and a great space for 2 people. The hosts were very responsive, friendly, and very considerate. We had a great 2 week visit and would stay here again!

I just loved my stay here. The neighborhood is charming and borders Rock Creek Park, part of our National Park Service. The place, itself, was beautiful, spacious and very relaxing. I used it to get some work done and was super productive here. The family that owns the home are friendly, fun people. If you get to strike up a conversation with them, do. Should I need a place to stay in DC again, this one is at the top of my list.

Quiet neighborhood, lots of space. Parking on the street is easy. Bed was comfortable and there was a ton of room in the living room for a kiddo. It’s a hike to the metro but worked for us since we were driving. The house was clean, but it is a basement so just know it’s going to be a little basement-y, but nothing off putting. There were a lot of windows too so that helped. Good spot for families and overall nice place for a stay. Would recommend.

This place is amazing! I loved how the apartment was decorated; felt very comfortable and homey inside. The place is actually a lot bigger than I thought too! We rented the Lime bikes and biked into DC. It was about a 30 minute bike ride. The kitchen had literally everything you need to cook meals. Very well equipped! The bed was also very comfortable, I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb and I feel like a lot of them had uncomfortable beds. Parking was very easy, it’s street parking but the neighborhood is very quiet and there’s not much traffic. We parked right in front of the house. Over all this apartment was definitely one of the better airbnbs I’ve stayed in and I highly recommend to anyone!

Most of the reviews are accurate. Here is the honest picture: Stayed mid Sept for a week. There are flies, mosquitos, and a smell in this basement unit. It was presentable and decently furnished and sized. No water other than tap. If you enjoy quiet, don’t stay here. Every morning at 6a you can here the people that live upstairs very clearly. It sounds as if they are in the other room in your unit. The noise usually continues until after 9p. You can hear running, loud noises (sounds like furniture moving), microwave, blenders, etc VERY loudly. I ended up leaving a day early because I couldn’t take it anymore. If those things don’t bother you, this place is worth a look and the host is responsive. They just need to fix some things to make this spot 10/10

Most of the DC rentals are basement apartments, but this was the first one we’ve stayed at that didn’t feel like a basement. It was spacious, even for our family of four, and very cozy. The air conditioning works great, the sofa bed is decently comfortable, and the TV is enormous. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, and though it’s about a mile from the nearest Metro station, we ended up renting scooters to shorten the trip. Super fun! Bring earplugs if you are very sensitive to noise, because you will hear the family upstairs early in the morning.

Went to DC with my niece for a lil vacation.
Hosts were very nice and responsive. Our flight was delayed by 6hrs so we didn’t get in until 2am. The hosts were very accommodating and understanding. Gave great recommendations for things to do around DC.
The home is in a nice residential neighborhood. Very peaceful. However, the drive down to the monuments and other tourist things is about 15-30m depending on traffic. This is a basement apartment, so there is a distinct old smell. Steep stairs down and it’s very wet by the door. So you’ll experience mosquitoes and flies.
The Kitchen is a decent size. Has everything you need . Just FYI, there were a lot
Flies in the apartment. They like to congregate by the kitchen/living room/bathroom windows. So we killed a lot on our first night and throughout our stay. They are getting in somehow.
Bathroom is older and no fan. Leave the window up. The water did not taste good. So bring bottled water. If you have allergies, bring a Claritin/Zyrtec

the house is located in a private neighborhood but quite close to all attractions, we arrived late at the night and the street parking was easy to find, the unit was just as advertised and surprisingly more spacious than we expected. The host was very responsive and helpful for our requests, we appreciate that. Recommending to everyone who is traveling to DC.

Nice neighborhood. Easy parking. Host was friendly and helpful. The unit was very very nice. My 2 small kids loved it. Nice playgrounds nearby. The couch was super comfortable and great for relaxing. Some noise from overhead early in the morning. Overall it was a positive experience.

It was a wonderful experience. The home owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The neighborhood was safe and clean. There was a great coffee shop a few blocks over and great food within walking distance. Parking is street only, but there was plenty of parking places. Only thing to be aware of is the street cleaning that happens every week, and there are minor parking restrictions. Signs are posted so keep an eye out for them. The property was great, the experience was great, and I would absolutely book there again.

I can’t say enough about this space. From the moment we stepped foot into the apartment it was SO clean, relaxing and safe.
My son and I were in town to enjoy school vacation week and it was such an easy drive to downtown to get to all of the sights and museums. We were so happy we booked here because it truly felt like our home away from home. It was lovely to come back after a busy day in the city and unwind here. The hosts were so responsive and helpful! We can’t wait to come back! Would highly recommend to anyone considering this space.

I booked this property to attend a concert, meet up with a friend, and escape my life for a bit. It was perfect! the apartment was clean, so cozy and had everything I needed.
The bed was so comfortable but I slept on the amazing sectional most nights because it was absolute Heven, and featured a huge smart TV!
I’m vegan and Doordash had so many options. My host was extremely responsive and helpful. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in DC!!!!

This was the perfect spot to relax after a full day exploring DC. Hard to check in. I nedeed to go true to milions of question include face photo, photo of passport, secont time to confirm my age even I gave photo of my passport and “promise ” that I will not use they fluffiest towels to clean my shoes
And absolutely not to make parties and many more rules and restrictions.
I could to go on netflix and tv remote didn work and tv vlume was so low that I couldn’t hear the sound .
I am 72 and my partner 64 so what proof I should give that I am eligible to stay in home sweet home.

We enjoyed our stay with our infant, the host was very responsive. We were notified that our original booking had to be modified to another apartment in the same home due to a hot water issue. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the parking was very helpful. The alternative apartment was on the 3rd floor so if you have an infant it may not be convenient but we kept the stroller in the car and made it work since we had a short stay. Will recommend the location to family when visiting the area.

The basement stay was not what we expect nice set up and but the owners kids were very loud over top of us every morning waking us up we turned our music up to block them out the owners came knocking asking us to turn our music down the water was cold our entire stay we had to wash with cold water at the sink and we spilled a little juice on a sheet and they want 75$ reimbursement when it could be simply washed this place is NOT recommended

It was a great place to stay. The apartment was very nice and clean. We even visited with some of the neighbors and they were very friendly and helpful.

This was the perfect spot to relax after a full day exploring DC. We loved the convenience of the dedicated parking space, how easy it was to get downtown, the beautifully stocked kitchen, and the overall peaceful and restful vibe. We will definitely look into staying here again for our next trip to DC.

Hard to check in. I nedeed to go true to milions of question include face photo, photo of passport, secont time to confirm my age even I gave photo of my passport and "promise " that I will not use they fluffiest towels to clean my shoes
And absolutely not to make parties and many more rules and restrictions.
I could to go on netflix and tv remote didn work and tv vlume was so low that I couldn't hear the sound .
I am 72 and my partner 64 so what proof I should give that I am eligible to stay in home sweet home.

We enjoyed our stay with our infant, the host was very responsive. We were notified that our original booking had to be modified to another apartment in the same home due to a hot water issue. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the parking was very helpful. The alternative apartment was on the 3rd floor so if you have an infant it may not be convenient but we kept the stroller in the car and made it work since we had a short stay. Will recommend the location to family when visiting the area.

The basement stay was not what we expect nice set up and but the owners kids were very loud over top of us every morning waking us up we turned our music up to block them out the owners came knocking asking us to turn our music down the water was cold our entire stay we had to wash with cold water at the sink and we spilled a little juice on a sheet and they want 75$ reimbursement when it could be simply washed this place is NOT recommended

Located in the heart of the city. Very nice neighborhood and house. It’s the basement so you will hear noise coming from upstairs but it was not bad.

Rented it for my parents, awesome place, my parents had a great stay, and I love it too. The owners who live upstairs are amazing people, I definitely recommend.
