We had a great time booking through Home Sweet City. They were extremely responsive to our messages and helped us get settled into the city and find parking. The location is extremely close to the National Mall, giving us the unique opportunity to walk to see the attractions or if we wanted to drive we were only five minutes away. I would highly recommend this AirBNB and would stay in this property again!

Home Sweet City is very responsive, always replied my messages within 10 minutes. The location is very convenient, just 4 minutes walk to Union Station. The property is located in a very quiet and leafy street. Room is spacious and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice and comfortable. Parking was not a problem which was my main concern since it was a residential area that required parking passes. We arrived late the night of check in and still found a parking spot in front of the house. We found a spot every day in front of the house. The check in process was easy and the host made sure we were well informed about the expectations during our stay. The bed and pull out bed were both comfortable. We all slept well everyday. The host was awesome. She responded to messages in a timely manner. The only drawback was that there isn’t a tv in the bedroom. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay! It was close to the museums and other sights, and bring on walking distance to the Amtrak station was perfect for our family.

Appartement très agréable, propre, fonctionnel situé dans un quartier résidentiel où on se sent en sécurité ; non loin du Capitol et de la gare. Vous avez à proximité pas moins de 2 supermarchés qui offrent des gammes de produits différentes. Il est agréable de trouver des petites attentions (café, thé, sucre, capsules de lessives pour le linge et pour le lave vaisselle en nombre suffisant !) qui font la différence. Il est rare que je le mentionne, mais si j’étais amenée à retourner à Washington, je reviendrais dans ce logement. Continuez comme ci !

This place is centrally located (with a 7 minute walk to union station) and gets a fair amount of natural light for a basement unit. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay, it was super clean, felt right at home. The property is at the basement but surprisingly we didn’t hear or get distracted by the outside noise. The neighbourhood felt very peaceful and located walking distance to Union Station. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting us.

Place is perfect! Very clean. Newly renovated. Family of 4 slept comfortable. A mattress topper was available for the sleeper sofa which was very thoughtful. Location is close to amazing restaurants. Felt very safe in this quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future!

Absolutely wonderful location! Cute corner spot, playground behind. Quiet Easter weekend. So close & walkable but opted to take local D6 bus to get to Monuments & Memorials Bike Tour with Unlimited Biking since we were doing a lot of walking already & it was $2.25pp 1-way but can’t pay cash & need Smartrip cards or phone app for each person as you can’t share cards, even for kids. As a family we didn’t know this since we don’t live in a city so they just let us ride for free anyway. Apartment itself was so lovely with a very comfortable king bed & pull-out sofa with foam topper in the spacious living room so it was very comfortable for our children to share with plenty of bedding. Bathroom was so clean with nice towels & big bottles of body wash/shampoo/conditioner. Gallery kitchen was narrow but had everything you need to cook/eat in apartment & everything seemed new/clean & worked great. Keurig coffeemaker & some K-cups were provided. Ice trays in freezer. Water purifier in fridge.

We appreciated our stay here! It was private, located close enough to walk or take public transportation, and the host was communicative and flexible with our needs. Would stay again!

Very nice neighbourhood

Positive: This apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location was also ideal in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walking distance to all the sights and museums. We really enjoyed our stay!

I loved how colorful the apartment was – it felt right at home. We didn’t miss a thing during our stay and were able to prepare a meal and even wash a load of clothes. The location is perfectly located with short walks to the metro and grocery store.

I loved this sweet little spot in a friendly, Capitol Hill neighborhood. A few minutes walk to Union Station, coffee shops, groceries, and H Street restaurants and yet quietly nestled into a residential community. Plus, the lodging itself was clean and well designed. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and friendly host!

We arrived by train for a 4 night stay. This property is 6 min walk from Union station, with luggage. The location was very convenient for train, metro, bus and walking to H street and major attractions in the capitol area. The appartment is newly refurbished and with new appliances and lots of additional little touches, making it difficult to imagine what else could be provided.

The nicest location I have started in in the neighborhood. the location was clean and quiet. keypad lock made it easy to enter. Cleanest Airbnb I have stayed in in quite a while, best on the neighborhood. Everything was new. loved the water filter in the fridge. Wi-Fi was easy to use and fast. host was very responsive to messages. I will be a repeat customer.

The place was great, however our experience with this host was not acceptable. This host asked us to provide a $300 security deposit to accept our booking because they were “nervous”. Upon checkout, the host became unresponsive regarding the return of our deposit and we had to escalate to AirBnB support to get our money back.

Booked again at this location while in town! Very clean and conveniently by the Metro. Felt like I was right at home.

This rental was terrific! It is ideally located near the metro and great local restaurants. The space had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. It’s the perfect “home away from home.” I will be booking again in the future!
