El metro y los supermercados están a un par de cuadras. Viajé con mamá, esposa e hija y fue un lugar fantástico que sin duda recomendaría a ojo cerrado a cualquier persona, familia, o pareja. Conveniently located DC property with walking access to most of the landmarks. Adequate space for 2-4 adults with parking pretty simple. We were there in an extreme wave which exceeded the unit’s cooling capacity.

Great location and great space. I was unable to access the unit on the first day (code provided did not work) and there was no offer for a refund for the night I could not get in which feels like a bad business practice. There were also inconsistent check out instructions so I followed the more restrictive ones.

My wife and I had a really good time in this beautiful apartment.
Lost Sock café is right on the corner and that was the perfect spot for our early coffee.

This was our second time staying here which says a lot because we never stay in the same VRBO twice. This was a first & we VRBO a few times a year. Why? Location to groceries, eateries, and a white, safe neighborhood that is full of culture (NoMa). Apartment was clean both times, and the hosts are easy to communicate with. Perfect home away from home when we visit DC every year!

Loved this AirBNB!! Looked exactly the pictures. The host responded to all my messages in a timely manner and would follow up. A quick 5-10min walk to so many different restaurants, 5min walk to Trader Joe’s and the surrounding areas were so nice and peaceful. I’m really selective but I would definitely stay here again!

The lower street level apartments has a convenient entrance and is located in a pleasant townhouse neighborhood. Everyone we met when we were walking was friendly and helpful. The Red Line Metro and grocery stores are only a short walk away. The apartment was modern, spotless, and fully furnished. The washer and dryer were new and top of the line. The spacious rooms made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen had modern appliances and was stocked with coffee, tea, and other condiments. Great location, close to the National Mall and attractions. Lots of close restaurants/cafes and bars. Super clean and spacious, also quiet. Parking was tricky though, I had to register online for a parking pass and not many free spots, but once I found a spot, I left it there for the duration with no problems. Pretty safe area to walk around after dark.

Good clean place for a restful night’s sleep. Some minor issues but not many rentals are 100% perfect. Great location as restaurants and metro stations are nearby, but not too close where noise is an issue. Neighbor lives above, so would recommend this place for travelers w/o kids (sounds travel upstairs easily). One of the most comfortable beds (and pillows) I have slept on — ever — and I’ve traveled all over the world (and U.S.).

Estuvimos una semana con mi familia y nos pareció bueno por el precio. El apartamento es tal como se indicaba, estaba limpio y muy completo. Lo único que afectaba era el estacionamiento ya que muchas veces tocaba dejar el vehículo lejos, debido que es una calle bastante transitada.

We loved our stay! Our daughter just moved to the area and we were within walking distance of her new place and all the awesome places to visit in the area! The rental was perfect for our family…easy to get in, comfy beds, perfect amount of space, clear instructions…the list goes on and on! Highly recommend!

I really was not sure what to expect with an Airbnb in a metropolitan area. it was actually quite nice. it is close enough to many things that you could drive and park, use Lyft or Uber. I saw many people using the bikes and scooters. The parking pass was excellent. This was a nice place to relax after long days of walking. I highly recommend!

My kids and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Smithsonian museums via Uber for only $13. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful — we especially enjoyed our evening walks. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and a perfect fit for the three of us. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay was fabulous! Any questions or clarifications were answered upon arrival or as requested. The hosts are well organized in their booking, loading you with all the information you may need to make your stay in the area worthwhile. The check in and check out process was easy, and the home was well kept and modern. We would easily recommend this stay to a friend (and have already). We already began thinking about when we can come back! Perfect spot!!

This is a sweet and clean little apartment on a pretty street. Even though it is a basement, it felt light and bright. The street was quiet, and an easy walk to a variety of eateries (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, family friendly etc – it’s all there), as well as just a few blocks to the metro. I wish the bed had been a king instead of a queen, and the bathroom is very very small – no room to place or hang anything. But other than that, it was very comfortable, well appointed, and again – super clean. It was just right for our stay, and we’d definitely stay there again.

I was in town for a graduation and am really glad that I found this Air BnB. It was extremely clean, probably the cleanest Air BnB I have stayed at. There were a lot of nice touches such as having cable TV in the front, a fully stocked kitchen (I was amazed at all the available seasonings and the coffee bar), first aid kit, and games. The bed was super comfortable and the pull out bed in the front was convenient. The bathroom had everything you would need.
The neighborhood felt safe and I had no concerns walking to resturants at night. The owners were extremely friendly and made me and my family feel very welcomed. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.
I had concerns with it being a basement apartment when I reserved it but it truly felt like a home.

The CLEANEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The space is beautiful and has everything we needed. The bed was more comfortable than my new bed at home! The neighborhood was very safe and walkable with restaurants and stores close by. Obtaining a parking pass for a rental car was the only difficult aspect as the pass needed to be printed with the vehicle info and there were no public printers or print centers nearby.

We needed to make a last-minute visit to DC family with a medical situation, and were able to reserve this unit for three nights. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, as well as a convenient short walk to our son’s house. It’s in a great location close to both the H Street corridor as well as the Union Market area. We would definitely recommend this as a great spot to stay in DC!

Property was just as advertised. Great location – walking distance to eateries and grocery stores. Property was very clean. Did not have any issues or need to reach out to hosts. The bed and pillows are magical. I need to buy that mattress and those pillows for our home! The only thing I wish the property would have had is either a ceiling fan or fan in the bedroom to circulate the air. Love that they had a noise control machine and ear plugs that you can use. That really helped me sleep. The property is fully stocked with everything you need. I appreciated the hangers and steamer. The coffee pods for the Keurig and the Keurig itself topped it off for me! We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of four had a great time here this weekend. We walked 11 miles each day and enjoyed so much of the city. We found this neighborhood to be so pleasant with great Access to Union Market shops and restaurants and quick trips to Trader Joe’s. We’re outdoorsy and prefer to walk (and boy we did!) but the metro would have just as convenient. We’d definitely stay again.

Everything was great except we didn’t have hot water for three days. They did eventually fix it but it was not fun taking cold showers after being out all day in the cold. Other than that it was a great stay.

Great communication with the host with questions quickly addressed. Comfortable, quiet neighborhood and a well appointed kitchen! It was nice to have a selection of spices for meal prep! Adding a pitcher to the kitchen would be a great idea! The bedroom was very comfortable with a wonderful mattress and we liked the sound machine as well!

Great location, walkable to the Mall and Smithsonians, and the parking permit works in a large area, so we could move our car closer to the Mall (it was cold this weekend!). Also, 7 minutes walk is a fun food court and lots of restaurants. Parking on the street was super easy. The place was warm and cozy. Amenities in kitchen (high quality tea and coffee) were much appreciated. Would come back here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Home Sweet City’s adorable apartment in NOMA. I was there for a business trip and it couldn’t have been in a better location. I could access the Red Line on the Metro within 5-10min of walking. There were lots of grocery options nearby. The neighborhood is sweet and felt safe. Overall awesome stay! I will definitely book again!

The property is really cute and has all the amenities needed. Can Uber easily and economically to all attractions. Would leave a 5 star in all areas but there was a slight musty smell and may be due to the nature of it being a basement unit. Little trouble getting thermostat to go higher than 68 degrees. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and stay.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this apartment. I keep coming back because it has everything I need and is conveniently located near the NoMa metro station and Union Market. The place was lovely. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. The local coffee for our mornings was a nice touch. The pullout has the bar in it – so just a note for sleeping for the extra guest. The couch was comfortable though. The area had such great food within walking distance and 3 great coffee shops as well as a Trader Joe’s.

We were pleasantly surprised with the memory foam mattress on the sofa sleeper, making it a very comfy second bed.
The historic neighborhood was close to Trader Joe’s, which was convenient for our several-day stay. Being on the lower level was very quiet, and the neighbors were very nice!
It was disappointing that the microwave was not working during our stay. The friendly repair man indicated that it needed to be replaced.
I would recommend a blanket/comforter for the sofa sleeper; we made due with the two decorative throws. It would be nice to have a total of four wash cloths; one for each guest.

This was a super clean and comfortable basement apartment on NoMa- very convenient to getting to all the major DC sites. We took Uber mostly and it was very reasonable. 5 minute walk to Trador Joes and REI, also many other grocery stores. The owners live upstairs and were very friendly when they were sitting out on their porch. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space , although you can sit on the steps down to the unit. Highly recommend .

The lower street level apartments has a convenient entrance and is located in a pleasant townhouse neighborhood. Everyone we met when we were walking was friendly and helpful. The Red Line Metro and grocery stores are only a short walk away. The apartment was modern, spotless, and fully furnished. The washer and dryer were new and top of the line. The spacious rooms made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen had modern appliances and was stocked with coffee, tea, and other condiments. Parking was tricky though, I had to register online for a parking pass and not many free spots, but once I found a spot, I left it there for the duration with no problems. Good clean place for a restful night’s sleep. Some minor issues but not many rentals are 100% perfect. Great location as restaurants and metro stations are nearby, but not too close where noise is an issue. Neighbor lives above, so would recommend this place for travelers w/o kids (sounds travel upstairs easily). One of the most comfortable beds (and pillows) I have slept on — ever — and I’ve traveled all over the world (and U.S.).

I really was not sure what to expect with an Airbnb in a metropolitan area. it was actually quite nice. it is close enough to many things that you could drive and park, use Lyft or Uber. I saw many people using the bikes and scooters. The parking pass was excellent. This was a nice place to relax after long days of walking. I highly recommend!

This is a sweet and clean little apartment on a pretty street. Even though it is a basement, it felt light and bright. The street was quiet, and an easy walk to a variety of eateries (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, family friendly etc - it's all there), as well as just a few blocks to the metro. I wish the bed had been a king instead of a queen, and the bathroom is very very small - no room to place or hang anything. But other than that, it was very comfortable, well appointed, and again - super clean. It was just right for our stay, and we'd definitely stay there again.

I was in town for a graduation and am really glad that I found this Air BnB. It was extremely clean, probably the cleanest Air BnB I have stayed at. There were a lot of nice touches such as having cable TV in the front, a fully stocked kitchen (I was amazed at all the available seasonings and the coffee bar), first aid kit, and games. The bed was super comfortable and the pull out bed in the front was convenient. The bathroom had everything you would need.
The neighborhood felt safe and I had no concerns walking to resturants at night. The owners were extremely friendly and made me and my family feel very welcomed. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
I had concerns with it being a basement apartment when I reserved it but it truly felt like a home.

The CLEANEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The space is beautiful and has everything we needed. The bed was more comfortable than my new bed at home! The neighborhood was very safe and walkable with restaurants and stores close by. Obtaining a parking pass for a rental car was the only difficult aspect as the pass needed to be printed with the vehicle info and there were no public printers or print centers nearby.

The bed and pillows are magical. I need to buy that mattress and those pillows for our home! The only thing I wish the property would have had is either a ceiling fan or fan in the bedroom to circulate the air. Love that they had a noise control machine and ear plugs that you can use. That really helped me sleep. The property is fully stocked with everything you need. I appreciated the hangers and steamer. The coffee pods for the Keurig and the Keurig itself topped it off for me! We would definitely stay here again!

We found this neighborhood to be so pleasant with great Access to Union Market shops and restaurants and quick trips to Trader Joe’s. Great location, walkable to the Mall and Smithsonians, and the parking permit works in a large area, so we could move our car closer to the Mall (it was cold this weekend!). Also, 7 minutes walk is a fun food court and lots of restaurants. Parking on the street was super easy. The place was warm and cozy. I had a wonderful stay at Home Sweet City's adorable apartment in NOMA. I was there for a business trip and it couldn't have been in a better location. I could access the Red Line on the Metro within 5-10min of walking. There were lots of grocery options nearby. The neighborhood is sweet and felt safe. Overall awesome stay! We were pleasantly surprised with the memory foam mattress on the sofa sleeper, making it a very comfy second bed.
The historic neighborhood was close to Trader Joe's, which was convenient for our several-day stay. Being on the lower level was very quiet, and the neighbors were very nice!
It was disappointing that the microwave was not working during our stay. The friendly repair man indicated that it needed to be replaced.
I would recommend a blanket/comforter for the sofa sleeper; we made due with the two decorative throws. It would be nice to have a total of four wash cloths; one for each guest.

Loved our stay! Great location, close to good food. Within reasonable distance to Capital, Mall, etc. Scooters/bikes are at almost every corner to make things even easier. Very close to metro station. We hopped on a caught the Braves & Nationals game in Navy Yard and arrived within minutes. Very easy access to just about anything you wanna do whether you are walking, using bikes, or catching the train. Host was incredibly quick at responding. 10/10 recommend! The place was also well stocked with basically anything you would need - including tampons for the ladies who forgot to bring extra😅 the place was very clean and we’d stay here again if we find ourselves visiting DC again.

This was a super clean and comfortable basement apartment on NoMa- very convenient to getting to all the major DC sites. We took Uber mostly and it was very reasonable. 5 minute walk to Trador Joes and REI, also many other grocery stores. The owners live upstairs and were very friendly when they were sitting out on their porch. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space , although you can sit on the steps down to the unit. Highly recommend .

Stayed here while visiting family and I must say for this being the first trip ever flying somewhere new with an infant as a first time parent this Airbnb was an absolute godsend. They thought of everything which was so incredibly helpful. From Children’s plates to utensils to the white noise machine plugged in and ready to go. The filtered water in the kitchen sink and frozen ice packs to use in the freezer. It was the most comfortable stay I’ve had in a long time somewhere that isn’t my home. I have nothing but great things to say about the host as well they’re very flexible, accommodating and responsive. This has truly made our trip so painless and fun. Our daughter absolutely loved walking up and down the hallway and playing peekaboo with the clear coffee table as well. Lots of fun memories had - thank you!! Definitely will be revisiting and using the same Airbnb.

We enjoyed our stay in DC at this beautiful VRBO. You would never know that there were people living above us since this basement apartment was so quiet. Everything was clean and organized with little extra items to make the stay more enjoyable. This place is located within an easy walk from Union Station. There are two major grocery stores also within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants available on H Street but truthfully we were a little disappointed with this due to so many storefronts not filled. If you walk up 4th street a little further there are additional selections of restaurants and breweries. Thank you for a wonderful time in DC.

We drove into DC for a 4-day stay in the city with our family from North Carolina. We were looking for a place that we could park our car and then use public transportation for the rest of our stay and not stay far outside DC. It was so nice not to pay $50/night for parking like most hotels in the city. We also wanted a place where we could fix our own meals. This was the perfect spot for us! Parking and check-in was simple. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 pre-teens). Very clean. Great kitchen. Never really heard the owners upstairs. Less than a 10-minute walk to the NoMA metro. Close to several grocery options. Felt safe the entire time. Would highly recommend this spot to others and we'd definitely stay again when visiting DC.

Great one bedroom apartment! Had everything I needed while in for business. Amenities like tea and coffee helped start the day. Restaurants and grocery just a couple blocks away. The host provided recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops etc. I used Union Station as a base for work and it was easy to use Metro (3 blocks away) since it was so hot, but could have walked in better weather. Felt totally safe in the area. The apartment was big, easily could hold 4 ppl. We never needed anything or had any issues. Great space, great value.

The only minor issue we encountered is Wi-Fi especially when I have work related conference calls.

This was our first trip to DC and our stay was perfect in every way. We enjoyed the close walk to the Metro, Whole Foods and dinner spots. The place was clean and exactly how it is pictured. Bonus perks were good tea, coffee, shampoo and conditioner. If we ever come back we would definitely consider staying again. All of our needs were met and exceeded or expectations. I stayed one week and loved it! Walkable to so many dining options and the metro. I went to Union Market every day and sometimes twice in one day. I loved the neighborhood. Well-stocked kitchen with everything I needed.
I even did two loads of laundry on the day before I left because it was raining, and I was passing time. They had Tide Pods available for you to use.
The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra pillows. The shower was great, too.
The host was so accommodating and provided flexible check-in/out options.
The only downsides for me were the following. None of these are terrible, but you just need to be aware. They would not prevent me from staying there again.
The bathroom sink is so tiny, but there is no space for a bigger one.
Every time the owner above cooked meals, I could smell it in my bedroom, which I did not care for.

The Airbnb was great. Spotless, modern, clean, cozy. Its in a nice neighborhood which is walkable to grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. Felt very safe.
The only negatives are:
1. The neighborhood is under construction, so prepare for lots of traffic and congestion.
2. The owners live above and they are VERY heavy-footed in addition to old, creaky floorboards, which was unfortunate for my partner and myself as light sleepers. The footsteps stopped around 9pm but start up again around 8am. I used my phone to blast white noise and was able to drown out most of the noise.

We appreciated the coffee pods and laundry soap supplied. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It is a very short walk to the Metro substation and Trader Joes. There was a nice selection of pillows. Noise from the 1st floor was very minimal. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom was a bit small for the size of the unit but the shower was very nice. We will recommend this place to others.

Great stay! Overall perfect stay, see points below
1. Location! Perfect! Close to restaurants, supermarket, train station and coffee shops! Beautiful trees lining the street.
2. Hosts > well documented instructions, good recommendations, very responsive and proactively checking in on us
3. Beautifully furnished and good lighting > not cluttered, well presented and good lighting
4. Clean! Very clean
5. Stable WiFi > 2 persons working 8hrs each online without any interruption to long video calls.
6. Good linen and well equipped kitchen utensils and bathroom amenities (fabulous fluffy white towels)
Great stay! Highly recommended when in DC!

The apartment was just as described and included all the necessary bathroom toiletries, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Neighborhood felt safe and we were able to park right across from the house. The walks to NoMa metro and Trader Joe's were quick and easy. We didn't get to check out the hosts restaurant suggestions but did enjoy good drinks and food trucks at Wunder Garten. Only downside was the power outage and not having extra batteries for the flashlight and tea lights, but the host was quick to respond and follow up regarding the power.

A wonderful stay and within easy walking distance of H Street and Union Market. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable - would highly recommend.

Lovely garden apartment in a sweet quiet street. Comfortable beds and linens, fully stocked kitchen, high quality bath products. We couldn’t have imagined a better location: just around the corner from the metro, groceries, and a short walk to Union Market. We loved the vibrant NOMA neighborhood. Street parking was easy and seemed plentiful. All in all a perfect stay for our family of four.

The Perfect place to stay in Washington DC. Every trip is a experience but definitely the experience is much better if you stay una cool place like this! We will back soon. You can find games, everything that you need in the kitchen , clean spot ! 5 stars 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an excellent place to stay when away from home. The space is clean and spacious. It is convenient to grocery stores, the red line, and H St corridor.

Enjoyed our stay! Basement apartment was very nice and matched description. Only complaint was that the host was rather slow to respond and we did have to pay an additional fee of $25 for a pack n’ play even though description simply stated that it was an included amenity.

Clean, easy check in, great communication and comfy. My kids loved it and did not want to leave. My only complaint would be the table and stools, a couple of them, the seats were not secure.

Great stay in NoMa neighborhood! Brought my two senior parents on a mini weekend DC trip & they were very very comfortable here! Highly recommend & a quick walk to union market with many food options! Most of the time found parking very easily.

Great place to stay! Close to Union Center with ample food selections. Metro was just a few minutes away. Was exactly what we needed for our short stay in D.C. Host was very helpful in getting parking permit. Instructions were detailed and laid out exactly what was needed to check in/out. Would definitely consider Howe Sweet City's listings in the future.

We had a very nice three day, two night visit. The apartment is clean with a modern kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable living room. Great location. The communication was quick and consistent.

We had a great stay, I was assured it was baby/kid friendly and it was. They did a great job with it being very clean. It had everything we needed. We would stay here again. They were great hosts. They answered any questions we had. They were very helpful. There is a Trader Joe’s right around the corner I figured out a little on the late side, the walk to Union Station took us just 18 min and it was an easy walk. The bed is comfortable although i have learned that co-sleeping on a queen isn’t for me. But sans baby it would have been just fine. There is no bath but the baby loved their shower. The kids had a great time, they felt safe there. It was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it and have to my friends. Thanks!

Very beautiful unit! Looks exactly as described and extremely well maintained. Looks even better in person! Great W/D and hot shower! Loved the unit and everything about it. Only downside is upstairs neighbors were a bit loud (stomping) especially early morning. You could hear them walking around and one day they used some type of power tool around 8 am. Otherwise, the unit its-self is to die for and the location is great! No issues with parking and very, very safe location! Very responsive host, and caring. My family and I would love to stay again. 🙂

All around great experience. Unit was clean and had everything we needed as we cooked several meals. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to stores. Parking was super easy and plentiful. Communication was on point. No complaints. Would rent again.

We would absolutely stay there again. The unit was very clean and just as advertised. We walked the six minutes to the NoMa metro stop or the 45 minutes to the Mall every day. The neighborhood felt very safe -- and you have to be very, very cautious in DC when it comes to the safety of the various neighborhoods.

What a great place to stay for our week in Washington DC. This place is close to transportation, resturants, coffee and grocery stores. It is in a pleasant neighborhood that we felt safe in even late in the evening whild walking. The accomodations itself were very comfortable with everything we needed, including laundry soap. We cooked in the kitchen several times and the ammenities were very complete, easy to use and stylish too. The bedding was great with the best pillows ever and nice fluffy towels. We would certainly stay there again if we ever return to DC.

place was comfy, clean, well stocked and relaxing. the description is accurate. the back patio is a great place to relaxing. we did not use the bbq but it looked clean. appliances worked well . access to Public transportation was great. would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful unit. The pictures don't do it justice! Our entire stay was stress free, from reservations to checking out. The unit was spotless upon arrival, and equipped with everything we needed. My fiance and I loved the inviting feeling of the unit. It was beautiful, clean, and quiet, which was perfect for us. We requested a parking pass and had no issues finding parking right in front of the unit for the entire weekend. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent communication with the host, who was always available if we needed anything. For our first trip to DC together, this was a great first experience. We cant wait to visit this unit again for future DC trips! Thank you so much!
