Positive: Property was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Negative: Homeless people sit on the steps to the entrance.

Hello Alex and Laura, Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful “Home Sweet City” located in the heart of Washington, DC. We were in town for the 57th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., which welcomed over 20,000 attendees. Our group of six adults stayed from July 10 to July 13 and found the home spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were especially cozy, and the space could easily accommodate eight adults. The neighborhood felt safe and was conveniently surrounded by a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Definitely was worth the stay!

Very nice townhome and great location. There was some associate nightlife street noise due to the vibrant location. We arrived a couple of hours before our checkin time. We used the nearby luggage storage facility that the Airbnb suggested while we checked out a local beer garden.

Great easy stay for my team and I who were in town for work. We each had our own room and plenty of space to stretch out. Food options being literally next door for our odd hours worked really well.

Excellent location, close to the Metro station. The house is amazing, very spacious and clean. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Certainly a place we will come back next year.

This house was perfect for our family get together. Spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities. Many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores – all within walking distance. Although it was too cold to spend time outside, this house has a wonderful outdoor space as well.

The house is very spacious and clean. The hosts are very responsive. It’s convenient to a lot of places. However, it is an extremely noisy area at all times of the night . Understand the host cant control that but if you are looking for a peaceful place this is not it. If you come with a car, be aware that parking is tough and ask for a pass before you come. Additionally, we saw a lot of illegal activity on the street in front of the home so be aware.

This was an amazing Airbnb. If I’m honest, one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. It is huge and perfect for hosting a large group. It’s modern, spacious, clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. Location is central and walkable to many nearby restaurants, bars, etc. Because of this, it did get a bit noisy on weekends as people were passing by the home. However, this did not bother us. While the property itself is pristine, it’s still in DC. We did see a rat on the back terrace, so I would caution not leaving doors open. Rodents are not the fault of the property, it’s simply to be expected in the city. On day 2 of our stay, the hot water went out entirely downstairs (but continued to work upstairs, thankfully) – while this was not able to be resolved prior to checkout, the host was prompt and fair with compensating me for the inconvenience. Overall a very good experience. Communication with host was great. Access to home was easy. I would stay here again and would recommend.

Awesome place!! Definitely we will come back again. Close to the metro and groceries. The house was extremely clean. Nice and comfortable beds. A lot of space!

Lively neighborhood with a million restaurants around, you don’t need a car in DC anyway but even less in that neighborhood. Very comfortable beds and nice sheets (my pet concern), lots of light in living room/kitchen. Very nice hosting team. We had a small issue with the garbage disposal and they were there very quickly to fix it. We had a great Christmas. My only (small) complaint was that there was only one serving/prep bowl, no serving platters at all or baking dishes. In an apartment that big that can sleep 10, there will be some cooking going on for most groups and that was enough of a problem that I went to Whole Foods to buy two baking dishes (which I left for the next group). A few prep bowls, a salad bowl and 3 serving dishes would be great complements. To address other comments on noise, especially in the front room: There is definitely one nightclub (or 2?) very close and you can hear the music particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, but honestly it’s no very loud.

This home was perfect for our group of five. It had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Great breakfast spots right next door (Compass Coffee and Cracked Eggery). The host was easy to communicate with and everything exceeded our expectations. Ubers were also easily accessible at this home to get throughout the city.

We were very happy with our stay. The home is as described and in excellent condition. It was very clean. We really appreciated the supplies left on hand. The host communication was quick and helpful. As mentioned in other reviews the front bedroom gets noise from the street and the neighbors late at night, but otherwise pretty soundproof. Love the amount of space and two living areas, great for a large family. Kitchen was well supplied. Everything is nearby and close to the Metro. Would reccomend and stay again.

Great stay! The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Everything was in close walking distance as far as restaurants, lounges etc…. Great memories were made on this trip! I would highly recommend this place for your trip!

Excellent séjour, Le logement était fantastique. Très propre et neuf avec beaucoup d’espace. Le service offert par les hôtes était exceptionnel avec beaucoup d’informations. Restaurant à ne pas manquer à moins de 10 minutes de marche est le Ambar Shaw. Toutes les commodités sont à distance de marche. Seul petit hic si vous êtes dans la chambre au deuxième qui donne sur la rue, amenez-vous des bouchons, ça peut être festif à l’extérieur.

We had a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to have our own bedrooms. Great food, stores, bars and clubs within walking distance. Beautifully decorated.

Great house for our stay! Walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. The house was spacious and extremely clean. Would totally recommend and stay again!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in the Howard/Shaw area of DC. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants nearby and close to the airport, making travel easy. The host was quick, responsive, and helpful throughout. The property was clean and matched the listing photos perfectly. As noted, there were a few bugs in the basement, but nothing unusual for summer. The downstairs room with the couch doesn’t have a closet, but a rack and dresser are provided. The space was perfect for our group of 8, offering great value compared to a hotel. If you’re arriving late, I recommend grabbing food beforehand since dining options are limited on weeknights after hours. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Overall a great place. We have stayed in multiple of these type apartments and this one is top notch. We would stay again 100%!

Perfect house for a group of 5 women who need their own space to retreat to while still enjoying the common spaces with each other. Great value!

I would give this home the highest rating but a couple of things made it “not super great”. The activity (people hanging out right in front of the gate) outside the home was not good & the noise level at all hours, especially between 9pm – 5am, was horrible. Fortunately only the front bedroom upstairs was affected but it was very loud. Most of the activity came from the home next door so not sure if that unit was an AirBnb or permanent residents. They partied a lot which would have been okay except it was every night (Thur, Fri & Sat) until 4 – 5:00am. Overall our stay was wonderful and the home itself was perfect.
